INSPIRED BY TRUE EVENTS

The Cottontail Cafe was established in October of 1941 in New Haven, Georgia. Buford Harris, its founder, pioneered the southern classic cafe and coined the phrase "good eats and great treats," making the restaurant a staple in the tri-county community. Buford was determined to serve his hometown the best of what southern cooking had to offer, and for 28 years, he did just that.
